Honda Indonesia hoped anxiously awaiting the decision of the principal Brio's presence in Indonesia. Originally planned, Brio is one of the new models that are marketed PT Honda Prospect Motor (HPM) this year. But now, it turns out there is no certainty.
HPM has been conducting surveys since the third quarter of last year and got promising results. However, the plan involved reducing the flood swept away with Honda's factory in Ayutthaya, Thailand late last year. While Honda Motor Company factory in Thailand is scheduled to operate again in April 2012.
Thailand is now one of Honda's production base in the ASEAN region. Since production ceased, confirmed the request to accumulate. Brio production is highly dependent on the situation in Thailand, including the supply of components for assembly both in India.
