Astra Serious Motorcycle Racing



Otomotif Sports - Astra Motor shows the seriousness of the plunge into the world of motor racing with the opening national-Astra Motor Racing Team (ART) at the Kelapa Gading. The team is supported by the entire network under the auspices of PT Astra International, Tbk-Honda Sales Operation (HSO).
Rikiyanto Gunawan, Marketing Division Head HSO said, Honda managed to win the MotoGP championship as the most prestigious motorcycle racing today. This year, Honda has a target to promote the image of racing for Honda in Indonesia and Asia region.

"We deliberately chose Star Motors as a partner to create ART racing team. With experience, we hope to achieve the best performance this year," said Rikiyanto on the sidelines of the launch of ART.
ART prepared to compete in the prestigious championship in Indonesia namely Honda One Make Race, Indoprix, AISI and the Asian Cup Champhionship Road Racing 2012 season. The three main classes will be followed by the 110cc, 125cc and 250cc, relying on two experienced racers Denny Triyogo and Wawan Hermawan.
